Child friendly: our latest studs have passed the test from the pickiest of customers- a CHILD. My 6 year old kept complaining about her earrings and a couple of times just losing them because the butterflies would keep falling off; once I switched to giving her a pair of our simple Studmuffins, she stubbornly told me she would never go back to pointy (butterfly) backs because they “hurt too much”!
**Please Note: length of rod on these studs is 7mm. If you are wanting these beauties for a child, the fit may vary depending on the thickness of the child’s ear lobe (especially in the case of little ears under 5 years old) and the earrings may sit a little loose until the child grows into them such that the gap between the lobe and the flat back is bridged.
Advice: since it takes a little work to screw on the flat backs of these beauties, would highly recommend sitting down to put them on; that way, if the back slips out of your hands while you’re putting on, you can easily see where they’ve fallen.
